Hair Removal Laser
We use the Gentlelase Plus Hair Removal Laser system.   This unique laser has a process called dynamic cooling: spraying a coolant on the skin a split second before the laser fires.  This chills the upper layers of the skin and allows the laser to penetrate to the hair follicle itself.  This process reduces the problems seen with earlier lasers including pigmentation changes and blistering. 

Because many of our female patients have expressed interest in having a woman perform specific laser treatments, our registered nurse continues to perform many of these procedures.

Remember, the fall and winter are an excellent time of year to begin a series of hair removal laser treatments. Because hair is constantly cycling through growing and resting phases, multiple treatments will be necessary to treat the hairs in their growing phase.  Significant hair reduction should be expected by the time the weather warms up again.
