Dr. Catherine Ni is a board certified dermatologist. She is a triple Bruin and a Los Angeles native. She graduated UCLA magna cum laude with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Comparative Literature. She graduated UCLA medical school and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her dermatology residency at UCLA in 2020, where she served as Chief Resident in her senior year.
Dr. Ni is also a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor at UCLA – she works part time at the West LA VA Medical Center, where she trains UCLA dermatology residents and participates in Grand Rounds and various other academic activities.
Dr. Ni’s clinical interests include dermoscopy, skin cancer detection and prevention, psoriasis, acne, and rashes. She is passionate about patient education and working in partnership with her patients to achieve their healthiest skin.
In her spare time, Dr. Ni is an avid reader and enjoys exploring Los Angeles with her husband and two Shetland sheepdogs.
